The Meaning Behind the Name Revherb

When we began searching for a new name, we weren't simply looking for something that sounded beautiful.

We were praying for a name that reflected our mission, our faith, and the story God has been writing since the very beginning of this business.

After much prayer, Revherb was born.

At first glance, it may seem like a simple combination of two words.

But every letter was chosen with purpose.

Herb: A Foundation We Never Wanted to Leave

Long before Revherb, our products carried a Bible verse that became part of our identity:

Genesis 1:29

"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed..."

From the beginning, this verse reminded us that God, in His wisdom, created the earth with incredible gifts for mankind.

Our passion has always been to thoughtfully use those gifts through carefully crafted herbal products.

So when we began creating our new name, we knew one thing immediately:

"Herb" had to remain.

It wasn't simply describing what we make.

It represented the foundation of our mission.

Rev: A Story of Revelation and Revival

The beginning of our name carries several meanings.

First, it reminds us of Revelation—the final book of the Bible.

More specifically, Revelation 22:2 says:

"The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."

We love how this verse beautifully echoes the herbal mission God first introduced in Genesis.

But "Rev" also reminds us of revival.

To revive is to restore, renew, awaken, and bring back to life.

That is our prayer—not only for the products we create, but for the people we serve.

Finally, the sound of "Rev" carries the ideas of reverence and revere.

Everything we do is ultimately an act of worship and gratitude toward the One who created both us and the plants we work with.

The Beginning and the End

One of the most meaningful parts of our name is something many people never notice.

Our original verse came from Genesis 1:29.

Our new inspiration comes from Revelation 22:2.

The first book of the Bible.

The last book of the Bible.

Together they beautifully frame the entire biblical story.

That connection also reminds us of the words of Jesus in Matthew 20:16:

"So the last shall be first, and the first last..."

As we walked through the unexpected transition from Faith & Grace Organics to Revherb, this verse took on a new meaning for us.

What initially felt like an ending became the beginning of a new chapter.

Sometimes God asks us to let go of something familiar so He can lead us somewhere even greater.

Seven Letters

Even the length of our name carries significance.

Revherb contains seven letters.

Throughout Scripture, the number seven often represents completeness, spiritual perfection, and God's finished work.

While we didn't choose the name simply because it contained seven letters, discovering that connection became another beautiful reminder of God's fingerprints throughout this journey.

More Than a Brand

Revherb isn't simply a business name.

It's a testimony.

It reminds us where we started.

It reminds us of God's provision through every season.

It reminds us that Scripture remains our foundation and that creation reflects the beauty of its Creator.

Every product we make is our way of honoring both.

Our prayer is that whenever someone sees the name Revherb, they see more than a logo.

They see a company rooted in Scripture, inspired by God's creation, and committed to serving others with excellence.
