From Faith and Grace Organics to REVHERB

A New Name, Continuing Story

Welcome to REVHERB. If you knew us as Faith and Grace Organics, you’re in the right place. We transitioned to REVHERB after a trademark conflict. Faith and Grace Organics remains an important part of our history—the name changed, but our family, team, products, ingredients, values, and mission remain the same.

Why REVHERB?

REVHERB brings together our faith and our connection to herbs and the natural world. REV speaks to revival: to restore, awaken, and bring back to life. It also points to Revelation, the final book of the Bible. Our word map connects REV to Matthew 20:16 and Revelation 22:2, which describes the leaves of the tree as being for the healing of the nations.

HERB reflects our herbal, plant-based roots and points to Genesis 1:29, where God speaks of providing seed-bearing plants. Together, REV and HERB connect the first and final books of the Bible—God’s provision in creation and the hope of renewal. The word map also sees echoes of reverence and reverb: reverence for God and His creation, and the hope that our faith and mission will resonate with others. REVHERB has seven letters, which the word map connects with spiritual perfection and completion.

To us, REVHERB means echoing God’s goodness through His creation, for His glory.

Meet Janine

Welcome to REVHERB (Formerly Faith and Grace Organics)! I’m Janine Szulim, a proud mom of three beautiful children under the age of three and a devoted wife to my wonderful husband, Johnny Szulim. My journey began in Veracruz, Mexico, but I was brought to Minnesota when I was just seven years old. Ever since, I’ve called this vibrant state my home.

I graduated from Simley High School and pursued a degree in Business Management at Mankato State University. However, balancing a full-time job and part-time studies proved challenging, and I made the decision to step away from college in my third year. I always knew I had a dream of owning my own business one day and felt confident that my passion and determination would be my greatest assets, rather than a degree.

A Personal Mission for Healthier Products

My interest in healthier lifestyle choices has been a constant throughout my life. I vividly remember struggling to find clean, non-toxic makeup products during my high school years. In 2021, when I welcomed my first baby into the world, I dove deeper into researching healthier products. My son’s struggle with eczema and a frustrating experience with a greenwashed product fueled my determination to create safe, effective skincare solutions for my family. What started as a personal mission to make our own products quickly garnered interest from friends and family.

Taking the First Step

On January 12, 2023, I took a leap of faith and officially registered Faith and Grace Organics LLC with the state. Our first local craft show was a tremendous success, which inspired me to focus on selling online. I wanted to be present for my children as much as possible while sharing the products I had poured my heart into.

A Leap of Faith

In the midst of this journey, I turned to prayer, asking God to bless our business. One pivotal night, as I was preparing for an upcoming craft show, I heard God’s voice speak to me amidst the worship music playing in the background. He assured me that He would bless this business beyond my wildest dreams. Overwhelmed with joy, I held onto those words tightly, especially during the months when we were living paycheck to paycheck. Every extra dollar was a blessing, and I felt God’s hand guiding us. In late October 2023, I decided to create my own version of wild yam cream during my pregnancy, wanting to ensure I had a natural solution to help balance my hormones after birth. When I listed the product on our TikTok shop, it took off like wildfire, transforming our business from receiving about ten orders a day to hundreds.

Building the Business Together

By April 2024, we reached an incredible milestone when my husband Johnny made the courageous decision to leave his corporate job and join me full-time in the business. As co-owner, he has been an invaluable partner, contributing his skills and support as we navigate this exciting journey together. Working side by side as husband and wife has been a true blessing, strengthening our bond while allowing us to pursue our shared dream.

Looking Ahead

Looking ahead, we have big plans for the future, including establishing our own farm to supply our beeswax and herbs. Our goal is to deepen our commitment to sustainability while continuing to create high-quality, natural products that benefit our customers and the environment.
